Penza, 20 May 2016. PenzaNews. Members of student teams took part in the “Blood Donation Day” campaign held at the Penza youth center on Friday, May 20.

It is dedicated to the beginning of the summer student team semester, Artem Kolobov, head of the regional branch of Russian Student Teams, told PenzaNews.

“It is important for the young men and women to once again realize the importance of doing good by donating blood, the importance of realizing that their blood could later save somebody else’s life,” he pointed out.

According to Artem Kolobov, the student volunteer campaign must receive support to help them “feel like patriots and members of one big team.”

“It is particularly important for us, members of Russian Student Teams. Who we need are not leaders, not egoistical members of society, but people who can work in a team. And being able to good is one of the most crucial features of tightly-knit teams,” stressed the head of the Penza Russian Student Teams branch.
