Penza, 3 June 2016. PenzaNews. The paving slab repairs on the Fontannaya square in Penza city are still ongoing, in spite of the criticism and warnings from the city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev a week ago.

In particular, the part of the square adjacent to Moskovskaya street still remains covered in sand.

It was mostly leveled for further paving, yet a number of sand piles still remain, likely after sand shipping.

During the morning hours of Friday June 3, no repair workers were spotted at the location.

However, the deadline for the works is the joint celebration of Russia Day and City Day on Sunday, June 12.
