“Today, every man thinks about the problem of human-generated pollution and the ways to mitigate it. This is why the Ecology Worker Day is not just a professional holiday for the experts in the area. Today, we also celebrate the volunteers, activists and all caring people who help us preserve our natural riches,” the mayor stressed.

He stressed that Earth is our common home, and all people are responsible for its future.

“Dear ecology workers, please remain on guard of the environment so that we could preserve everything that the nature gave us. May your knowledge and the high position in our society help preserve the good environment and retain the unique natural islands in our city for the present future generations! I wish you sound health, good mood, optimism and new achievements,” the city hall press service quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
