Penza, 7 June 2016. PenzaNews. The problematic situation with real estate construction in the Penza GPZ-24 residential area was discussed during the meeting held by the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev on Tuesday, June 7. The situation occurred after the Saratov company “ProfiT” became the subcontractor for the construction of a heating pipeline, received the required sum of 167 million rubles from subcontractors, and was to build the pipeline by 2014; however, the works were frozen in 2015.

The meeting brought together representatives of real estate related companies “Penzastroy,” “RSK,” “T-Stroy,” “Decor-Trade,” “Yumirs,” “Stroyzakazchik,” “Domostroitel” and “Atak,” as well as the Saratov company “ProfiT.”

According to the court expert evaluation results, the company completed the works for a total worth of 89 million rubles.

During the meeting, the heads of Penza real estate producers involved in the construction works in the GPZ-24 residential area asked Victor Kuvaytsev to help resolve the issue; according to them, the new apartment buildings will be delayed if the heating pipeline is not built and activated in time.

In turn, the representative of “ProfiT” claimed that the company suffered losses of 30 million rubles due to a sudden increase in pipe prices. After a question about the fate of the remaining 50 million rubles, the company representative said he knows nothing of their disappearance, and continued to insist that the real estate producers owe his company 30 million rubles.

Moreover, the “ProfiT” representative gave no answer about the continuation of the pipeline construction process.

The meeting was summed up by the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

“The 1990s are dead and gone. If the heads of the Saratov company came to Penza only to bankrupt the Penza real estate producers, they will not have it that easy,” he stressed.

The city administration head offered the Saratov company to reconsider the situation and provide an issue resolution roadmap in a week, says the press service of the Penza city hall.
