“The car was flagged by a traffic police officer. During the inspection, he found that the man had a remote control device that manipulated a siren. The traffic police wrote an administrative violation notice that was referred to the magistrate. The siren was removed from the vehicle,” an official representative of the Kuznetsk area court informed PenzaNews.
As he explained, the magistrate court found the man guilty of committing an administrative offense: his driver’s license was suspended, and the remote-controlled siren confiscated.
“The driver appealed the verdict by claiming that he was not the owner of the car he had been driving, and therefore cannot be held responsible for any sirens or flashing lights installed on it. However, the appeal court saw the magistrate court verdict as sound and refused to appeal or change the outcome,” he said.
According to the court representative, the appeal was dismissed, and the magistrate court sentence remained intact.
