Until June 13, traffic police officers will be flagging down drivers to check them for alcohol content, the press service of the regional traffic police department informed PenzaNews.

“We ask drivers and pedestrians to show understanding towards the measures. You are advised to use audio and video recording devices during your encounters with traffic police officers to prevent any corruption and illegal actions by the officers,” they pointed out.

Moreover, the press service urged all citizens to report any signs of drunk driving.

“If you see a drunk driver on the road, please inform the traffic police office as soon as possible,” they said.
