Penza, 11 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev personally inspected the progress with construction of the Burdenko regional hospital’s perinatal center during a visit to the location on Saturday, June 11.

“I am pleased to note that switching over to the new subcontractor allowed to revive the construction of this crucial social object and step out of the regress,” the head of the region shared his impression after the inspection.

As the responsible officials informed the governor, around 300 construction workers are involved in interior and exterior works at the same time. In particular, they are installing dividing walls, with the wiring process to follow.

Ivan Belozertsev instructed them to accelerate procuring the equipment necessary for the functioning of the cutting-edge facility, and stressed the importance of having it staffed with highly-skilled and well-trained personnel.

The training for the perinatal center staff is almost complete, reported Vladimir Stryuchkov, Penza region Minister of Health.

Moreover, the members of the offsite meeting that took place at the perinatal center discussed other issues, such as setting up parking for the staff and visitors, says the press service of the Penza region government.
