The road repair subcontractors in Penza will now be paid only if their work is done sufficiently well and according to the schedule, announced the city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev during his inspection of the road repair process on Naberezhnaya Reki Moyki street on Monday, June 13.

The recent audit of the work done by the subcontractor organization “Elit Reval” unveiled a number of violations against the technical regulations and the use of unsuitable crushed stone materials, said the director of the city’s Communal Affairs Department Andrei Skripkin.

In turn, the Penza city administration head instructed his subordinates to inform subcontractors that they must rectify all faults in their work as soon as possible.

“Sadly, not all subcontractors are responsible with their work. Not everybody understands that the work must be done only once and for good, and on time. Our stance is firm – the budget money must be used in an effective manner,” the press service of the city hall quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
