Previously, the city administration head received a request for action from a local woman living on Saranskaya street: according to her, the abandoned dilapidated buildings are now frequented by vagabonds; moreover, there are several open wells at the location, which also pose danger.
After arriving to the location, Victor Kuvaytsev confirmed that a timely reaction is required.
In particular, he expressed his worries over the fact that the dilapidated buildings in question are located close to a kindergarten.
The mayor instructed the city Department of Communal Affairs to select a demolition subcontractor for the task as soon as possible.
“I will be personally monitoring the progress over the demolition issue. We must rectify it in 45 days,” the press service of the Penza city administration quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
