Penza, 24 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has proposed to use modern technologies, such as informing users through social networks and text messages, as part of the regional drug abuse prevention campaign.

“We must look for solutions together. We need all departments to work together towards success,” said the head of the region during the law enforcement coordination meeting on Thursday, June 23.

Ivan Belozertsev added that he is worried about children using illegal drugs and getting involved in remote drug distribution schemes.

“Good preventive measures in educational institutions should give good effect. […] We need to create the system and work on early prevention to achieve results,” he said.

The governor instructed related officials to create a schedule for visits of a dedicated intradepartmental task force to educational institutions.

“We need them to visit each and every Penza region school, college and university by December 1,” the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
