Cleaning city streets from trash together with their renown compatriots may help involve more young men and women in the social cleaning campaign in Penza, a PSTU student Dmitry Nikolaev suggested during the “Ecology and Improvement” panel of the regional forum “Molodezh 58” hosted in the school No. 77 on Monday, June 27.

According to him, renown politicians, athletes and actors may get involved in the project and show a good example to students.

The head of the Penza city Communal Affairs Department Andrei Grishin, who acted as the panel expert, commented on the idea and proposed to create a shortlist of the people who would act as authorities for the youth.

He asked several of the forum participants about their personal choice of famous partners in street-cleaning.

In turn, the students named athletes Alexei Netesanov and Denis Ablyazin, the Penza Lunacharsky Drama Theater artistic director Sergei Kazakov, the cosmonaut Alexander Samokutyaev, and the head of the Penza Culture and Archive Department head Vera Feygina.

The forum audience concluded that working together for the good of the city would serve as an interesting way of communicating with their renown compatriots.
