Craftsmen from Russian regions to assemble in Penza for “Lada” festival

Penza, 6 July 2016. PenzaNews. Craftsmen from Smolensk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Saratov, Samara, Tolyatti and other Russian cities will take part in the Penza festival “Lada” on Fontannaya square. It will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 8-9, as part of the celebrations for the Russian Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.

The event is organized by the team behind the mid-June countrywide arts and crafts festival “Kanitel” and the City Center of Trade And Services, with support from the Penza Department of Culture.
The organizers plan to held a record-breaking number of workshops at the same time, including makeup lessons, food sampling, Slavonic entertainment, and braiding.
Moreover, children will be able to enjoy a playground at the festival.
The countrywide hand-made crafts festival will feature presentations by best masters of “PenzaHobby” union.
The celebrations on Fontannaya square will feature performances of love songs and a disco with contests.
