The renters – including a drugstore, a stationery store, two variety jewelry stores, an office of Home Credit Bank, and a dozen of ATMs – were already relocated from the premises.

The visitors of the store are alerted about the changes with a note stuck to the doors.

The renovations will feature a replanning of the store hall, general repairs, and a change in trade hall concept, the head of information and public affairs office of Spar Middle Volga Irina Kuryumova told PenzaNews.

“Our company will hold cosmetic repairs in the supermarket, replace power and supply pipelines, roofing, lightening and store equipment. The company developed a new design and high-tech concept for it,” she explained.

The opening of the renewed store is scheduled for 1 October 2016, with any adjustments to be reflected on the banner they will put on the building beforehand, she added.

“Our store, 2,820 sq. meters big, will created jobs for 95 people, including 6 additional ones, with 83 million rubles of investment,” Irina Kuryumova clarified.

She stressed particular attention that the store will be dealing in both commonly available consumer goods and self-produced foodstuffs – salads, soups, hot means with meat and fish, and pizza.

“Our own bakery will be supplying fresh bread, bakery and confectionery to customers. The supermarket will feature a cafe lounge,” the head of information and public affairs office of Spar Middle Volga explained.
