Penza, 8 July 2016. PenzaNews. 300 kg apples from Poland that have illegally been sold from cars in the territory of the vegetable warehouse “Petushok” in Penza are planned to be destroyed, the senior assistant of the Volga Federal District transportation prosecutor on media and public relations Maya Ivanova told PenzaNews on Friday, July 8.

She explained that the other day a local resident called the Penza transport prosecutor’s office and informed the supervision body of the possible breach.
“Penza transport prosecutor’s office immediately organized inspections of observance of the legislation on issues regarding import of goods restricted pursuant to the special economic measures act and regarding consumer rights protection in cooperation with Rosselkhoznadzor administration experts,” the interviewee said.
Maya Ivanova also added that the illegal products were removed from circulation.
“The situation stays in control of the Penza transport prosecutor’s office,” she noted.
