Penza governor suggests installing shields with information about drowned near water bodies

Penza, 11 July 2016. PenzaNews. Information shields with data on the number of drowned should be installed near water bodies in the Penza region in order to warn people about potential danger. This opinion was expressed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

“There should be strict control of behavior of people close to water bodies, including the police. Information boards should be installed on the beaches with information on how many people died and why, with phone numbers to call in case there are drunk people near water. If we save their lives, their families will be grateful,” the head of the region said during the meeting with the heads of administrative city and municipal areas, held by video conference on Monday, July 11.
Also, Ivan Belozertsev instructed to organize permanent patrol in places of mass bathing of Penza residents, the press service of the regional government reports.
