Penza, 17 July 2016. PenzaNews. 14 facts of discrepancy of milk and dairy products to requirements of GOST [state standards] were revealed in 169 samples taken by Rosselkhoznadzor in the Penza region in the first half of 2016.

Tests were conducted by “Saratov interregional veterinary laboratory.”

According to the data published on Rosselkhoznadzor in Republic of Mordovia and the Penza region website, 11 butter samples as well as one of cottage cheese, milk and stewed milk [varenets] did not conform to requirements of GOST. Tests showed falsification of a fatty phase replaced by fats of not dairy origin.

The information of detected facts is sent to the regional departments of Rosselkhoznadzor for taking measures on removal of the goods from the market.
