Penza, 19 July 2016. PenzaNews. Punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 1 thousand rubles was assigned to the resident of the village Chemodanovka in the Penza region, who posted pictures with symbols of the Islamic State on her page in social network [by its Arabic language acronym Daesh; the organization is forbidden in the Russian Federation].

“The woman’s actions caused propaganda and public demonstration of attributes and symbols of the extremist organization,” the official representative of the Bessonovsky area told the news agency PenzaNews.

According to him, during the court session the woman admitted her guilt.

“She converted to Islam, married a Muslim and she liked these pictures,” the agency interlocutor explained.
