Penza, 27 July 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region employers paid out over 203 million of salary debts in the first half of 2016, Svetlana Artamonova, senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations, told PenzaNews.

“We located 5,246 cases of salary withholding. To rectify the situation, we submitted 311 warnings, reproached 234, fined 380 and disqualified 11 responsible persons, provided 123 protests against illegal acts, warned 11 more persons, introduced 16 sets of evidence to begin criminal prosecution and opened 16 criminal cases, created 3,633 court proceedings for 105,025,000 rubles to protect people’s rights to be paid for their work done,” she explained.

According to her, each enterprise that owes employees money is targeted to resolve the issue under the monitoring of the regional prosecutor’s office, while the guilty parties end up being targeted by all measures available to prosecutors.
