Penza, 1 August 2016. PenzaNews. The recently shut-down flower shop next to the First Settler Monument on Kirova street will be replaced with a small-sized public garden by the Penza authorities.

The currently existing plants and trees in the vicinity will be kept as a part of the landscape and serve to extend the soon-to-appear flower beds.

Moreover, the public garden works will feature the restoration for the steep stairs going down the hill, which is currently blocked by a grate to avoid any accidents.

Reportedly, the city officials also will be placing flowerbeds and seats next to the First Settler Monument and pave the roads with bricks, says the press service of the Penza city administration.
