Penza, 2 August 2016. PenzaNews. The plans to build a new road to connect Arbekovo and Ternovka residential areas of Penza, along with potential financial models behind the plans, were discussed at the meeting in the city business incubator on Monday, August 1.

The meeting involved representatives of Gemil Ozgur company, the regional government deputy chairman Andrei Luzgin, the Penza vice-mayor Andrei Shevchenko, and the general director of the Penza Region Development Corporation Sergei Shelementyev.

The project is related to building a road from Stroiteley prospekt to Stasova street with two railroad underpasses, along the power supply lines to the Malaya Valyaevka road, past the Dubrava cottage zone and the Merenyasheva street houses, and to the 40 Let Oktyabrya street.

Next, the planned highway will be merging into Biyskaya street, with an additional intersection next to the Brigadirsky Bridge, and then through Ryabova and Perspektivnaya streets to Tsentralnaya street.

Reportedly, the 20.7 km road will be built as a two-lane highway and later expanded to four lanes.

The project may attract over 3.2 billion rubles of investments, says the Penza city administration press office.
