Starting from this day, hunters will be permitted to hunt fowl in swamps, fields and health, as well as for woodcock and blackcock.
Those include snipes and grass drakes for swamps and fields; and partridge, quails and doves for heath.
Starting from August 20, hunters will be allowed to shoot water fowl – geese, ducks and baldicoots – at hunter grounds and all general hunting areas as per usual regulations, with hunter dogs or without.
The fowl hunting season for all aforementioned types of game without dogs will be open through November 16.
The only exception is dogless upland fowl hunt, which will be open through December 31.
At the same time, hunters will be permitted to shoot fowl in uplands, fields and health with dogs through January 1, 2017, says the press service of the Forestry Ministry.
