Penza, 6 August 2016. PenzaNews. The “Master Gunsmith” International Army Games contest, currently ongoing at the Uchebny firing range in the Penza area, held the day of Chinese culture.

During the event, representatives of the Chinese team told the organizers and other competitors from Russia and Kazakhstan about the history of their country and its armed forces, as well as informed them on Chinese national customs and traditions.

Also, Chinese competitors held a hieroglyphic reading and writing workshop and showcased their skills in martial arts and song.

One of the most memorable performances of the day was a rendition of the famous Soviet song “Katyusha” in Russian by Chinese soldiers.

The event concluded with a round of souvenir-giving for Kazakhstan and Russian teams, says the Press Service and Information Department for the Russian Ministry of Defense.
