Penza to hold inspection contest for civil rescue shelter upkeep

Penza, 6 August 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza officials will hold an inspection contest for the best upkeep of civil rescue shelters in August 2016.

According to the Penza city administration decree signed by the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev, the contest will be held before August 25.
The committee created for the contest is headed by the vice-mayor Yuri Ilyin.
The event is divided into three stages.
During the first stage, the committee will evaluate the overall condition and documents for each shelter. The best of them will advance to the second stage, for scrutiny by the regional committee.
The third stage will be held for the best civil rescue shelters of the Volga Federal District and graded by the EMERCOM Volga regional center.
The shelters will be rated in three groups: for under 150 persons, for 150-600 persons, and for over 600 persons.
The committee will be evaluating all documentation and the condition: anti-fall guards, entrances and exits, air and water filters and exhausts, walls and floors, and absence of cracks, damages, and trash.
Moreover, the committee will evaluate the technical condition of life support, ventilation, water and power supply, waste removal, communication, alarm and fire suppression systems.
The inspections will conclude by August 15.
