The citizens are invited to the event with their families.
According to the event program, from 16.00 animators of “Smesharik” studio will entertain children, and adults have a chance to participate in creative workshops.
The pergola opening will be held at 19.00.
After that, the park visitors will enjoy animated films by local cartoons animator Ivan Maksimov.
According to one of the initiators of the pavilions, the head of the architectural studio “Glagol” Galina Turchak, on Thursday evening, August 19, they plan a technical opening which will gather those who made a contribution to the construction of the pergola.
“Lately, I have often thought of humanity and altruism. What motivates us? What motivates me? What motivates anyone who comes after work at the construction site even not residing in this block and having to walk to the park, who thinks that even though “they might break it,” but still believes in their heart they won’t? For me, this project has become very harmonious. It “came” to me at the time, when I was ready to do something important and I was realizing why I was doing it. The project broadcasts my values — harmony with nature in the park, a functional space for the realization of other people, which unites and identifies interesting personalities in the city, the desire to make the city better, the desire to show that everything is in our hands; the love of the park I grew up in,” she posted ion Facebook.
Galina Turchak clarified that the pergola construction gathered 54 people.
In spring 2016, autonomous non-commercial organization “The center of youth creativity “Reformula” with their project on public space development in park “Olimpiysky” was among the winners of the open competition for grants of “Community capital” fund.
The fund allocated 110,492 rubles for its implementation. The money was spent to purchase required materials, and the work was conducted by the activists — from students to company directors— who worked in their free time.
