Penza children's camp “Orlyonok” to be mothballed
Penza, 26 August 2016. PenzaNews. Children's camp “Orlyonok” located in the village of Akhuny near Penza will be mothballed in 2017 due to extreme wear. This was announced by the head of the city education department Yuri Golodyaev during the 25th regular session of the City Duma, held on Friday, August 26.

“The camp has wooden cabins; the infrastructure does not meet modern requirements. There were accidents, but they were eliminated, and this year all the sessions will be on,” he explained.
According to Yuri Golodyaev, the next year the places provided in “Orlyonok” camp will be redistributed between camps “Stroitel” and “Yunost” by opening the fourth session.
“In order to open the camp, we need to start designing, and put at least one or two camper’s cabins into operation, because the place is very good, and the camp is very popular among parents and children,” the head of the education department of Penza noted.
