“During the prosecutor's office check on the performance of sanitary-epidemiological legislation, they found a man with an active bacteriological positive TB bacilli maliciously deviating from treatment at the regional hospital. The person was informed about the disease. The efforts of medical workers of Kolyshley District Hospital to place the patient to the medical facility for treatment were unsuccessful,” the senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova told PenzaNews.
She clarified that the failure to comply with a sanitary-epidemiological regime at the location represented a danger of mass infection with tuberculosis.
“Kolyshleysky area prosecutor sent an administrative claim with the requirement of compulsory hospitalization in the regional TB dispensary. The claim was considered — the patient was promptly delivered to Penza by court decision,” the agency interlocutor summed up.
