Penza, 31 August 2016. PenzaNews. Information and prevention campaign “Say no alcohol!” will be held in Penza before the All-Russian day of sobriety on Wednesday, September 7.

“During the campaign the participants will inform vehicle drivers on the negative consequences of alcohol consumption,” the deputy chief physician of the Penza regional center of medical prevention, event coordinator Irina Puzrakova explained.

According to her, as a part of the action the citizens will be treated to high-quality clean drinking water contributing to health preservation as an alternative to alcohol.

“Various actions and mass events conducted within days of sobriety are relevant as ever. A reasonable and informed choice of a sober way of life is one of the major challenges faced by the society today,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Health quotes the coordinator.
