“The official website of “Sputnik” city as a result of a clerical error posted news of a paid entrance to the embankment. On behalf of “Termodom” holding, we state that no decision on the costs, entrances and closure of the embankment territory was accepted,” the message posted on the website of “Sputnik” states.

In addition, it also informs that the information on possible closure of the entire micro-neighborhood is a rumor.

Meanwhile, as PenzaNews reported earlier referring to the official representative of the holding company, the final decision to close public access to “Sputnik” embankment was planned to be made by the end of November.

This initiative was explained by the fact that local residents were experiencing inconveniences due to the large number of visiting tourists who often behave indecently, drink alcohol, throwing trash around and vandalize.

However, governor of the Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev stepped up. The head of the region was strictly against the closure of “Sputnik” embankment. In his opinion, it is a public recreation area, and it should be free for any person, regardless of where they live.
