As the chief doctor of the Penza regional Filatov children's clinical Maxim Bazhenov explained, the child was diagnosed severe congenital disorder of the lungs.

“At first he spent quite a long time in our regional children's hospital, and then went through a full examination in the federal [...] cardio center,” the head of the health institution said.

According to him, it was the first time in the regional practice that there was made a decided to organize the evacuation of the patient for the treatment in a large federal hospital.

Asked about predictions the doctors make, Maxim Bazhenov explained that first they need to get the results of additional tests, after which the strategy of further treatment will be developed.

“The child's condition is very serious,” he stressed.
