Penza, 2 September 2016. PenzaNews. Art object in the form of a bear installed at “Fontan” bus stop in Penza without permission of the authorities, will be dismantled, the chief city architect Zufar Ziyatdinov informed.

“Any construction on the territory of Penza, forming urban space and the environment, which a legal entity wants to install, must be approved by the management of urban planning and architecture of the city administration, in order to avoid chaos,” he said.

The chief architect of Penza stressed that coordination usually takes one day.

“We evaluate artistic and aesthetic characteristics of the art object and specify the best location,” Zufar Ziyatdinov explained.

In his opinion, the placement of the bear is unsatisfactory.

“The further fate of the art object will be discussed with the owner of the sculpture after his appeal to the management of urban development and architecture,” the press service of Penza administration quotes Zufar Ziyatdinov.
