Fire extinguished in Sosnovy Bor area with help of volunteers

Penza, 6 September 2016. PenzaNews. Members of the voluntary fire brigade, organized in the village of Inderka, the Penza region, helped to put out a cottage, bath-house and shed, which caught fire early in the morning on Tuesday, September 6.

The fire alarm came on in the fire office on duty at 6.43.
As the press service of EMERCOM main department in the Penza region told PenzaNews, 16 people and three pieces of equipment from the department were involved to eliminate the consequences of the fire.
“Thanks to the help of volunteers the fire did not spread to the neighboring houses and outbuildings,” the department emphasized.
The press service clarified that Inderka residents created a voluntary initiative group that solves a lot of issues related to public safety.
“They acquired motor pump, tractor trailer, a full set of fire-technical armament, barrel to transport 8 tons of water, built two piers at the village river flowing along the entire settlement, deepening the water extraction places for fire tank truck,” the press service explained.
