The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev called the great honor for the region the fact of appointment of Anna Kuznetsova, the head of the Penza executive committee of the All-Russian People's Front (ARPF), the head of the charity foundation in support of family, motherhood and childhood “Pokrov” for the post of the Children’s Rights Commissioner for the Russian President.

“I feel special pride in the fact that our compatriot Anna Kuznetsova, a young mother of six children, is appointed to a very high and responsible post of children's rights ombudsman,” he said.

The governor of the Penza region assumed that the decision was take because the region pays much attention to the protection of maternity and childhood.

“For many years, Anna Y. [Kuznetsova] has been engaged in the problems of families in difficult life situation, leading the charity fund “Pokrov,” he said and wished her successful work as children's rights ombudsman.

“I am confident that she will cope with the tasks entrusted to her and protect our children — the children of Russia, the children of the Penza region,” press service of the government quoted Ivan Belozertsev.
