Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained why the head of the executive committee of the Penza All-Russian People's Front (ARPF), the head of the charity foundation in support of family, motherhood and childhood “Pokrov” Anna Kuznetsova was appointed as the Children's Rights of Commissioner.

“Anna Y. has decent experience, despite the fact that she is quite young,” he said on Friday, September 9.

The president’s press secretary reminded that in 2011 Anna Kuznetsova worked in the crises line for pregnant women, participated in the activities of the All-Russian People Front in Penza, led the regional office of the All-Russian movement “Mothers of Russia,” dealt with the inter-religious cooperation and charity, worked in the Public Chamber of the Penza region, initiated the creation of the Association of organizations for the protection of the family in 2015.

“And, most importantly, she gave birth to six children. It is much more important than what I have listed. She has a wealth of experience, and her human qualities make it possible to hope that she will be an effective Commissioner,” Dmitry Peskov noted.

He also said that there were several candidates for the position from among public figures and citizens who worked actively within social structures in recent years in the areas adjacent to the protection of the rights of the child, “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” informs.
