Penza, 10 September 2016. PenzaNews. “Harvest Festival” fair opened on Lenina Square in Penza on Saturday morning, September 10.

Over 150 regional manufacturers present their products there.

The fair products are sold at the recommended prices. Thus, potato is 8-10 rubles per kg, carrots and beets — from 15 rubles per kg, egg I grade — from 34 rubles per dozen, and sugar — from 40 rubles per kg.

Fair was visited by the Mayor of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev, who talked with the organizers, representatives of the areas and found out more about the assortment.

“Participants of the fair not only allow citizens purchasing natural, high-quality and fresh products, but also contribute to food security in the city and the region,” he said.

A number of festive events dedicated to the “Harvest Festival” will be organized on Lenina Square: the concert program, national products tasting, and a free trampoline park for children.

The fair is open till Sunday, September 11, the press service of the City Hall informs.
