Penza, 12 September 2016. PenzaNews. Almost a third of the residents of the Penza region are sure that among all sports it is hockey that needs budgetary support the most. These are the results of a survey conducted by PenzaNews agency from August 29 to September 11, 2016, with 267 respondents, including 228 people from the Penza region.

A little over 15% of respondents believe that the government should support football.

Approximately 7% of respondents expressed support for the gymnastics and swimming. Almost 5% voted for rhythmic gymnastics and diving.

Basketball gathered less than 4% of votes, up to 3% of respondents chose mini-football.

According to the survey participants, volleyball needs support from the budget least of all.

Moreover, almost 23% chose “other sports.”
