Penza, 14 September 2016. PenzaNews. The standard of minimum amount of shopping facilities per person in Penza is exceeded by 44%. This is stated in the report of Olga Zhovtyak, the head of department for promote small and medium enterprises of Penza City Hall, presented at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the City Duma on socio-economic development, industry, transport, communications and entrepreneurship on Wednesday, September 14.

It is noted that almost every apartment building has a convenience store on the adjusting territory.

The city has more than 2 thousand stationary retail outlets and more than 100 shopping centers, offering a wide range of food and industrial products.

In this regard, according to experts, there is no demand in non-stationary trade in Penza. Neither the population who are interested in the quality of goods and services, need new shopping stations, nor the city administration, which stands for the preservation of architectural value of the city.
