At the same time, PenzaNews is still in the list of 100 most cited Russian-language Internet news portals.

In particular, Penza agency is ahead of such well-known regional resources in Russia, as “TV2” (Tomsk), RIA “Voronezh” and “7 News” (Ryazan).

Currently, the citation index of PenzaNews is 2800, 300 points more than a month ago, when the previous data was calculated.

“Penza-Press” agency of the media holding “Express” the index is 500 points less (128 th place in the catalog).

Citation index of “PenzaInform,” which is not officially registered and is a part of TRC “Nash Dom,” is 2200 points (130 th place in the catalog).

Thematic Citation Index (TIC) is a technology employed by Yandex to determine the credibility of Internet resources in a quantitative output, based on the quality of links from other websites rather than quality.

TIC is calculated using a proprietary algorithm that takes into account thematic content of the resource and the linking sites.
