As the “Civil Union” foundation website informs, the funds for the project are provided based on the results of “Your Initiative” contest for micro-grants. It was run by “Community capital” fund of Penza.
“Every day on the streets of our city people walk their dogs. Alas, there are no areas for dog walking, so the dog owners do it wherever it is convenient. They leave their droppings, which bring a lot of inconvenience to residents of the city who do not have dogs and are not ready to understand the irresponsible attitude of dog owners,” Inna Nazarova, the author of the project, executive director of the “Helping Hand o to Stray Animals” commented.
She explained that the bags are planned to be distributed during dog walking.
“It is very convenient and will not require any cost from residents. Perhaps it becomes a habit, and the streets of Penza will be a little cleaner,” Inna Nazarova noted.
