Teachers and educators awarded in Penza

Penza, 3 October 2016. PenzaNews. Honoring of teachers of general education and pre-school institutions, timed to the Teacher’s Day, was held in Penza on Monday, October 3.

At the beginning of the event, “Devchata” vocal ensemble performed to the audience.
Addressing the teachers, the head of Penza Valery Savelyev said that in front of the teachers he felt like a student in a classroom and shared his memories of school years.
“When ten years passed, [...] I did not want to leave school. This music — school waltz, when you come to school, even now reminds of certain thoughts, the soul is somehow pleased and sad at the same time, because everything is already gone, and I would like to come back to this,” he said.
The head of administration of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev, in turn, stressed that teachers help children to develop as humans, but also patriots.
“Assessment of the teacher's activity has always been high, but at the same time being teacher is a huge responsibility. We often say that each work is estimated by people with their points, their arguments. When people talk about teachers everyone agrees that this job is very noble, and it's true,” he added.
During the event, letters of thanks and gratitude were handed to the teacher of Russian language and Literature of gymnasium No. 1 Olga Eremina, deputy director on educational work of school No. 53 Lyudmila Karmaeva, teacher of Technology of school No. 63 Irina Kondakova, Physics teacher of school No. 36 Valentina Shokarova, Music teacher of kinder garden No. 39 “Rosinka” Daria Dmitrieva, teacher of additional education center of children and youth tourism and excursions Evgenia Lisitzkaya, teacher of school-studio of choreographic ensemble “Zorenka” Valentina Demina, teacher of Cadet school of Civil Defense and Emergencies No. 70 Sergei Garanin, Math teacher of school No. 65 / 23 Marina Efremova, deputy director for scientific and methodical work of gymnasium No. 13 Tatiana Zherepa.
In addition, honorable letters were awarded to teacher of Informatics of school No. 63 Gulshat Ivantsova, Math teacher of grammar school No. 44 Irina Kiseleva, teacher of Informatics of school No. 4 “Stupeni” Lyudmila Korogodina, teacher-speech therapist of kindergarten No. 139 “Beriozka” Elena Rakova.
Also a letter of gratitude was handed to the deputy director on educational work of school No. 56, cosmonaut Alexander Samokutyaev’s mother Maria Samokutyaeva.
At the end of the ceremony the head of the education department of Penza Yuri Golodyaev wished teachers proper wages and promised on behalf of all those on whom it depends, to do everything possible for that.
