Man who bit policewoman on belly to spend year in prison

Penza, 3 October 2016. PenzaNews. A sentence of imprisonment of one year to be served in a penal colony was appointed to a man who was found guilty of using violence against a government representative.

“In late June, the man, being dissatisfied with lawful actions of police officers and trying to avoid administrative sanctions, pushed his hands into the stomach the police mobile platoon inspector, police lieutenant, making her fall over the metal fence on her back, hit her head, receiving injuries and concussion. Then the man fell to the victim and bit her in the abdomen,” the spokesman of Zheleznodorozhny district court of Penza told PenzaNews.
He said that the man’s actions caused the police officer light injuries, as well as physical pain.
“He admitted guilt in full. The sentence has not come into legal force yet,” he added.
