Old bus stop pavilions to be replaced with new ones in Penza

Penza, 14 October 2016. PenzaNews. Victor Kuvaytsev, the mayor of Penza, instructed to replace old bus stop pavilions with new ones when reconstructing roads, as well as removing retail outlets that used to be in places of bus stops.

As the press service of the city administration told the news agency PenzaNews, the draft of new bus stop shelters was set up on the instructions of the governor Ivan Belozertsev.
“The department of urban planning and architecture of City Hall developed recommendations for exterior of bus stop pavilions, which were planned to be installed in the city,” the press service said.
The Penza administration added that after the proposed variant was approved by the planning council of the regional government, within the framework of the pilot project pavilions were installed on Izmaylova street and Yubileynaya square, and they were positively appraised by residents.
