During the on-site meeting on Saturday, October 15, the mayor of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev explained that works on the embankment reconstruction will be performed in two stages.

According to him, the draft of the new embankment is currently under examination, and the auction on carrying out major repairs will be conducted by the end of November.

In turn, Ivan Belozertsev stressed that it is necessary to extend the promenade area as much as possible.

“The embankment should be the centre of family recreation. People should come here not only during mass events but just in their free time,” the press service of the Penza region government quotes the governor.
