The deputy head of Penza housing and communal services Mikhail Glushkov presented the text of the appeal to the State Duma of the Russian Federation concerning the support for the initiative of the Sverdlovsk region Legislative Assembly for imposing administrative penalties for parking cars on lawns.

During the meeting of the commission on local governance, monitoring activities of bodies and officials of the local governance of the Penza City Duma on Tuesday, October 18, Mikhail Glushkov said that in Penza protocols were drawn up against drivers parking on lawns, but courts made decisions on penalty cancellation.

The bill proposes to establish administrative liability for driving or parking of motor vehicles on lawns or other vegetated areas in the form of an administrative fine in the amount 1 to 5 thousand rubles.

The City Duma deputies proposed to finalize the text, and in the session, which will be held in late October, take a final decision, the press service of the Penza mayor’s office reports.
