Compositions by Turischev, Prokofiev and Ruslanova to be performed at opening of their graffiti portraits

Penza, 19 October 2016. PenzaNews. Pupils of the children’s art school “Lyra” will perform compositions by Alexei Turischev, Sergei Prokofiev and Lidia Ruslanova on the occasion of completion of graffiti on the concrete wall with portraits of these cultural figures on Friday, October 21.

“We are now at the final stage of work,[…] finishing touches remain. We need to stop at this phase, so we want to hold a school celebration. This will be a kind of opening to our composition, which is the continuation of the project “Heritage,” the head of the children’s art school “Lyra” Victor Gvozdev told PenzaNews.
According to him, the artist Nikita Romanov, employees of municipal public institution “Advertising Service of Penza” and representatives of the Department of Culture will be invited to the celebration.
“There will be a small concert. We’ve painted three persons. Our students will perform Prokofiev’s compositions, Ruslanova and Turischev’s songs,” the agency interlocutor noted.
The start of the event is scheduled for 14.00.
