As the press service of the Chief Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the region told PenzaNews, a center, similar to that set up on Monday, 24 October, can accommodate up to 50 people.
“It includes tents equipped with heat guns. Inside, there is a dining room where one can charge a mobile phone and warm up with hot tea; there are places for rest, as well as a medico-psychological post. Street lightning is arranged,” the department noted.
The press service said that close to the center in case of traffic jams, an all-terrain vehicle, a search-and-rescue vehicle, snowmobiles, a four-wheeler, rescuers, and an ambulance will be on the go.
“Mobile warming center is intended for use on roads during the period of possible severe frosts and blizzards,” the Ministry explained.
