Penza, 27 October 2016. PenzaNews. 103 applications for organization of fir tree bazaars were filed to the Penza administration from 10 economic entities.

In total, there are 62 places provided for the pre-New Year’s sales of coniferous trees. At the moment, there are two platforms, which nobody claims on: 6, Prospekt Pobedy street and 92, Ternovskogo street. Applications were filed for other 30 more places.

“Responding to the people’s requests, we increased the number of bazaars at 20 and set them as close to residential houses as possible. We also asked entrepreneurs to not only sell trees but also provide their packaging and delivery,” the head of the consumer market department of assistance to small and medium business of the Penza City Hall Olga Zhovtyak said.

As the press service of the city administration told PenzaNews, the final locations of fir tree bazaars will be known after the auctions, which will be held on November 9 and 16.

“The initial price for them is 4,183 rubles, an auction step is 20 rubles. Following the results of the auction, there will be concluded an agreement with the winner, then the entrepreneur will need to agree on the appearance of the retail outlet with the Planning and Architecture Department of Penza. Such an auction will be held for first time, all the money will go to the budget of the city,” the mayor’s office noted.
