Penza, 31 October 2016. PenzaNews. Traffic police officers of the Penza region detained 60 drivers for driving drunk in the period from October 28 to 30. This was reported to PenzaNews by the propaganda department of the regional traffic police.

“11 of them were identified by the information received from citizens,” the department added.

The traffic police reminded that in accordance with Part 1, Art. 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Driving a Transport Vehicle by a Driver in a State of Alcoholic Intoxication, or Allowing a Person in a State of Alcoholic Intoxication to Drive a Transport Vehicle,” the drivers are to face a fine of up to 30 thousand rubles with driver’s license revocation of up to 2 years.
