Penza, 31 October 2016. PenzaNews. Seedling percent of forestry crops planted in spring of 2016 in the Penza region is 81.4%.

Over 80% of trees planted in spring take root in Penza region

In 2015, this percent of one-year seedlings reached only 65.5%.

Seedlings of Scots pine and English oak, which are basic forest-forming species in the region, take root in the Penza region most of all.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry told PenzaNews, the highest seedling percent was reached in the Mokshansky, Kadadinsky, Lopatinsky, and Shemysheysky forestry areas.
