23 school buses provided to Penza region areas

Penza, 1 November 2016. PenzaNews. 23 new school buses were provided to educational institutions in the Penza region on Tuesday, November 1.

So, one bus was sent to Bashmakovo, Bessonovka, Kamenka, Kameshkir, Kolyshley, Lunino, Malaya Serdoba, Mokshan, Neverkino, Nizhny Lomov, Nikolsk, Serdobsk and Tamala areas, as well as Zarechny, and special schools of Serdobsk and Golovinshchino.
Two buses more were provided to Bekovo, Lopatino and Penza areas.
“All vehicles are already equipped with the GLONASS system and all that is required for the safe transportation of children. In 2016, the largest number of vehicles for schools in the past 10 years was acquired — 87 buses. Until the end of 2016 another 30 vehicles will be provided to the schools of Penza, Zarechny and the region,” the deputy chairman of the Penza regional government, Oleg Yagov informed.
According to him, it is expected that there will be no buses in the region with expired service date.
“In 2017-2018 we want to enter the federal program of the Russian Ministry of Education and try to get another 55 buses, and in the long run until 2019 — more than 100 buses are planned to be provided to the school of the Penza region,” the deputy government chairman added.
