Penza, 2 November 2016. PenzaNews. Participants of “Russian March” intend to walk along the embankment of the Sura river in Penza on National Unity Day, November 4.

As Oleg Vikulov, section manager of the law violation prevention and civil and religious organizations issues department of the Penza city administration, told PenzaNews, the event, which, according to the filed applications, will be able to be attended by 200 people, was agreed upon.

It will start at 14.30.

In recent years, “Russian March” was small: in 2014 it was attended by less than 20 people, in 2015 – about 30.

“Russian March” is an annual processions and rallies of Russian nationalist organizations and movements in various cities of Russia and the CIS countries.

The first “Russian March” took place in 2005, a year after the establishment of National Unity Day, which is celebrated on November 4.

The main symbol of “Russian March” has always been a black-yellow-white flag, outside Russia St. Andrew’s flag is often used.
